The Keeper of Royal Academy of Arts highly praised Master Wan Ko Yee at the dinner banquet. He admired very much the talents and art of Master yee. He was so excited that he took off his necktie and gave it to the Master. He said,”This tie was made by myself.On behalf of the President and the Curator of Royal Academy of Arts and myself,I give it to the Master to express our heartfelt respect for Fellow.”

2 California gov’t entities proclaim March 8 as Master Wan Ko Yee Day
LAST March 8，it wasn’t known where Master Wan Ko Yee was. Although he was not in California at that time, his outstanding accomplishments, remarkable contributions and high moral character have added luster to the State of California.
Thus, the governor of California, Gov. Gray Davis, has proclaimed March 8 as “Master Wan Ko Yee Day.”（READ MORE。。。。。）

A Painting by Master Wan Ko Yee sold for the highest price of any Chinese painting ever sold at an art auction. He has once again started the art world by recently exhibiting in California his superlatively crafted carvings. This exhibition provided people with the opportunity to appreciate the highest form of art. The themes of his carvings are from nature. His carvings are so natural looking that they are free from any traces of conscious artistry. In fact, they even surpass the workings of nature. They truly take one’s breath away. What is even more astonishing to those in art circles is that there is no way to copy any of his carvings. His works cannot be imitated through rubbings, grouting or computer simulation. Such an accomplishment is unprecedented in the history of art. Chinese master makes history as painting sells for record price

Master Wan Ko Yee, master of Buddhism and art, yesterday made Chinese art history when his painting was sold for the highest price ever by a living Chinese artist.
His painting,“Venerable Da Li Won”, broke the painters own record when it sold for NT$72 million, or US$467 per square inch, an official from the auction said.（READ MORE。。。。。）
